The Burnaby Fire Department responded to a car fire at a local gas station Wednesday afternoon.
Photos and video of the incident show firefighters arriving at the Chevron station at the corner of Edmonds Street and Canada Way.
A red Toyota Celica with flames shooting from the hood can be seen in the background.
Assistant fire Chief Darcy Robinson said the fire department got multiple calls about the fire starting at 4:13 p.m.
He said no one was hurt during the incident, and one fire truck was all that was needed to extinguish the flaming car.
"The vehicle was not close to the fuel pumps or a structure," Robinson said.
