Why are you running?
I am running for a fourth term on city council to continue the work of our BCA council in making and keeping Burnaby the best run city in Canada. There are many initiatives that have been started in the last few years that still require support to bring to their conclusion. For example, the city is undertaking measures to try to address housing affordability, such as introducing legalized secondary suites and partnering with non-profits for seniors housing, and working with co-op housing groups to initiate affordable alternatives.
Top 3 Issues:
1. Protecting our environment and park spaces
2. Maintaining high quality public and protective services within our limited fiscal capacity
3. Working on expanded affordable housing options
