Why are you running?
Jeff Kuah maintains that democracy is at risk in Burnaby without a strong opposition voice to check the BCA-dominated council. He reignites an old revolution slogan – “No taxation without representation” – so that voters from the centre-right can be represented on Burnaby council.
Top 3 Issues:
1. “No taxation without representation”
2. Burnaby city reserves of $620 million. The city should not act like a banker. The reserves should be used to upgrade and build proper public facilities such as proper toilets in the parks, SkyTrain stations passing through Burnaby and all transit stations for young infants, children, seniors and persons with disabilities.
3. Proper city-run daycare facilities for all hardworking parents.
