A video on social media shows someone driving in the wrong direction at a busy Vancouver intersection.

Reddit user u/KrithusfulPoE shared dashcam footage of the intersection of Grandview Highway and Renfrew Streets on Sunday, Jan. 29.

The video shows a white car make a left turn out of a McDonald's parking lot and into traffic, but going in the wrong direction. From here, the confused driver cuts across a couple of lanes and continues down Renfrew Street in the wrong direction. After that, they make a risky left turn down the intersection while the light is green.

In their post, the Reddit user captions: "Just a rainy left turn. #vancouverlearnstodrive."

B.C. driver with 'N' licence caught speeding 122 km/h in 50 zone

Earlier in January, a Vancouver Island youth was caught excessively speeding on their first day with a novice driver's licence--and they'll have to pay a hefty fine for it.

On Friday, Jan. 22, the West Shore RCMP Tweeted that a new driver was caught going 122 km/hr in a 50 km/h zone on Metchosin Rd.

"The driver told the officer they were celebrating receiving their licence that very day," wrote the detachment.

Since they were travelling upwards of 60 km over the speed limit, the driver was issued a $483 fine for excessive speeding and a seven-day vehicle impound.
