Recently, a woman asleep in her downtown Vancouver apartment was woken just after midnight by a stranger grabbing her wrist.
According to the Vancouver Police Department, the 19-year-old woman then screamed and ran out of the room while her roommate called the police.
When officers arrived, they found the man lying in the young woman’s bed. He resisted arrest and a Taser was used to take him into custody, said the VPD.
The suspect was arrested for break-and-enter and assault, and taken to jail.
