IN HIS OWN WORDS

"I’m a lifelong advocate for human rights, I’m president of a record company and I have been inducted into the B.C. Entertainment Hall of Fame as leader of the band D.O.A."

WE ASKED

We asked each of the candidates four questions, with a 30-word limit on answers. Here's what Keithley said:

BIGGEST SUCCESS IN LIFE?

Raising three successful and wonderful kids right here in Burnaby, with Laura, my incredible wife of thirty years.

BIGGEST FAILURE OR REGRET IN LIFE?

Never having the chance to collaborate on a country album with Stompin’ Tom Conners.

WHY I WOULD MAKE A GREAT MLA

I care about people and have worked to try and help the average person my entire life. I also have a wealth of experience dealing with people from every walk of life and finding solutions to regular folks’ issues.

FAVOURITE BOOK OR MOVIE?

Hemmingway’s For Whom the Bell Tolls, it tells an incredible story of courage against staggering odds.
