A B.C. man wants to go to trial on 31 drug trafficking charges as well as 19 allegations of illegal weapons possession.

Court documents indicate Vancouver’s Joseph Ryan Lloyd, 35, has been charged with trafficking fentanyl, methamphetamine, ketamine, cocaine, methamphetamine, methylfentanyl, a benzodiazepine, GHB, p-fluorofentanyl, hydromorphone and bromo fentanyl.

The weapons allegations include having multiple 3D-printed guns, automatic pistols, knives, a medieval club-like weapon known as a morning star and a Taser.

In addition to those 50 charges outlined in six numbered court files, Lloyd also faces five counts of resisting a police officer.

He pleaded not guilty on all counts in July and elected trial by provincial court judge.

Vancouver Provincial Court Judge Harbans Dhillon heard Sept. 26 that Lloyd wants a separate trial on each of the files. Court documents indicate an estimated 26 days total would be consumed with Lloyd’s cases.

The offences allegedly took place between March of 2023 and February 2024.

The earliest charges to be sworn were done so on Nov. 1, 2023.

Lloyd has been in and out of custody but is currently behind bars.

Lloyd’s next appearance is on Oct. 2.
