You can own a little piece of Vancouver Canucks history...if you're willing to pay for shipping from Germany.

During the 2020 pandemic, former Vancouver Canuck Christian Ehrhoff recreates a postgame interview from the 2011 Stanley Cup Playoffs for the Canucks Twitter account.

Christian Ehrhoff was only a member of the Vancouver Canucks for two seasons but they were two incredibly impactful seasons.

During the 2010-11 season, Ehrhoff led the Canucks in total ice time by over 200 minutes, put up a career-high 50 points as a key component of the Canucks' league-leading power play, and helped the team win the Presidents' Trophy. In the playoffs, he led all Canucks defencemen in scoring despite missing two games with a shoulder injury and playing through that injury in the seven games of the Stanley Cup Final.

Ehrhoff was a dynamic defenceman with a hard and accurate shot, whether it was a wristshot while jumping up in the rush or a one-timer bomb from the point. Perhaps he doesn't get his due because of his short tenure, but Ehrhoff was one of the best offensive defencemen in Canucks history.

Now, thanks to eBay, you can own a little bit of Canucks history. Christian Ehrhoff himself is selling a piece of memorabilia from the Canucks' run to the 2011 Stanley Cup Final: his pants.

This is real: Ehrhoff has an eBay account and regularly sells memorabilia from his hockey career — as well as his old golf clubs — on the auction website. He's got good reviews too: 100% positive reviews from the 98 items he's sold so far. He's previously sold game-worn skates and socks, as well as various other swag he got from teams: workout gear, t-shirts, and hoodies.

Now, he's selling the Canucks pants that he wore in the 2011 Stanley Cup Final.

These Warrior pants are indeed from 2011 — Ehrhoff wore Bauer pants during the 2010 playoffs but switched to Warrior in the 2010-11 season.

“A very special collector's item for Vancouver Canucks fans: Christian Ehrhoff's Warrior pants from the 2011 Stanley Cup Final," reads a Google translation from the listing. "The used pants are an authentic piece of history and a must-have for real hockey lovers. Perfect for fans who want a piece of memory of this memorable season. The pants can be signed upon request.”

With one week remaining in the auction, the bid is up to 161 Euros — a little over $240 Canadian. The listing says the item can be picked up for free, as long as you can travel to Germany to get it. Otherwise, estimated shipping to Canada is a very reasonable 20 Euros — around $30 Canadian.

As for why Ehrhoff is selling his pants — and old skate bags, warm-up jerseys, and game-used sticks — it's likely just to get rid of clutter. Ehrhoff shouldn't be hard up for cash, as he is still on the Buffalo Sabres payroll: his 2014 buyout will continue to pay him $857,143 per year through 2028.
