Burnaby Junior Kindergarten students celebrated one of their first scholastic milestones on Sunday.
The young students were awarded certificates after completing early learning at two Core Education and Fine Arts (CEFA) schools in Burnaby, one on Canada Way and one on Kingsway. CEFA’s program is offered to pre-Kindergarten aged kids and is designed to encourage students’ learning with age-specific activities and games.
“The annual ‘graduation’ to a new classroom helps children celebrate accomplishments through marking important milestones and preparing them for life in elementary school,” stated a press release.
