The year-round program is for students in all grades.

Crescenzo raises money to bring in professional artist from all disciplines in the entertainment industry to work with students.

Dream Big Productions:

Templeton's film and television program was established in 1997 and has an annual estimated budget of $40,000.

Students spend the school year learning how to write, direct, act in, edit and produce films.

Key supporters include Frank Giustra, James Prier and Shelley Mason.

Telus Summer Visions Film Institute: Crescenzo set up this program, a partnership with Pacific Cinematheque, in 1997, and he estimates the annual budget is $185,000.

At-risk youth are referred to the program for a crash course in filmmaking.

Professional instructors teach the participants, and students from the Templeton program can earn a small wage teaching at the summer program.

The Boys' Club: This program was established in 2008, with an annual estimated budget of $50,000. Approximately 50 members - at-risk male teens - meet weekly. Successful male role models are invited to speak to the boys.

Key supporters: cofounder/partner Walter Mustapich, Francesco Aquilini, Frank Giustra, and Judy and Bob Hager.
