Seven Burnaby students were recognized for their artistic achievements by the Burnaby Artists Guild at the group’s spring show earlier this month.
The students – all from Burnaby high schools – won a spot at the guild’s spring show and sale, held April 6 to 8 at Shadbolt Centre for the Arts. The students also took home $100 each in Opus Art Supplies, gifted by the guild and Opus Art Supplies.
The winners were: Vivian Tran, Burnaby Central; Devon Kimmie, Burnaby Mountain; Roxolana Karpinski, Burnaby North; James Huang, Burnaby South; Lien Thao Phem, Byrne Creek; and Kaitlyn Liu, Alpha Secondary.
