A new mega-store for makeup and skin care products will be opening up in North Burnaby.
The Amazing Brentwood will be the site of a new Sephora store as part of its transformation that includes multiple new stores and even more residential condo towers.
Sephora carries thousands of different brands as well as its own line of products.
The news comes as Sephora just revealed its 2021 birthday gift offerings in the makeup, skincare and haircare categories from Laneige, NARS and Moroccanoil. These free gifts are available to all members of its Beauty Insider program during their birthday month. Starting in 2021, the program will provide members with not only new options, but even more choices than ever before, with the existing online rotating gift now available to all three tiers of the program: Insider, VIB, and Rouge.
Available exclusively online, the limited-edition item will rotate throughout the year, so clients should look out for the latest product offerings during their birthday month. In January 2021, Sephora is kicking off the rotating gifts with the Kérastase Nutritive Shampoo and Conditioner.
The Amazing Brentwood has several new stores that have opened, including Sporting Life and Nike.
And other fashion companies are looking to expand into Burnaby.
The latest is Dutch fashion giant Suitsupply, which is set to open a flagship store in the Amazing Brentwood sometime in 2021. A large banner has been set up on part of the mall that’s still under construction.
Suitsupply is a major player in men’s fashion. It was started by Fokke de Jong out of his dorm room in 2000 and has grown substantially over the years.
The Burnaby store is expected to be more than 6,000 square feet in size, possibly over two levels.
This would be the company's first standalone storefront in Metro Vancouver.
