The Burnaby Board of Trade is hosting a free seminar for members wanting to learn more about the risks of buying and selling outside of Canada.
The seminar, called Currency Risk Management, is happening from 9 to 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 28 at the board of trade office, 201-4555 Kingsway.
Senior foreign exchange dealer for EncoreFX Gavin LeClaire will lead the hour-long session and will cover topics including the risks of currency and foreign exchange risk and how it relates to businesses; tools to help manage a business’ foreign exchange requirements; and the basics of implementing these tools to protect profit margins, maximize revenue and boost competitiveness, according to an event write-up.
