A 21-year-old man has been charged with stealing jewelry from two Burnaby stores in two days.
Myheart William was arrested at the Metrotown mall on Aug. 5, after an alleged theft at Peoples Jewellers, according to Burnaby RCMP.
He was charged the following day with theft over $5,000, according to the Vancouver provincial court registry.
Two days after that, he was also charged with robbery and disguising his face to commit a crime in relation to an incident at the Metrotown mall Michael Hill store on Aug. 4.
William remains in custody.
He is scheduled to have a bail hearing in Vancouver provincial court on Aug. 13.
