A quarter of eligible Burnaby residents cast their ballot during advance voting, according to Elections BC's data.
During the five days of advance polls, between Oct. 10 to 16, 42,398 voters aged 18 years and older participated out of 172,836 that are registered.
Across the province, 222,907 ballots were cast on Wednesday, Oct. 16, which marked a new daily record.
The provincial total was 1,001,331 out of 3,550,017, which equates to 28 per cent.
