BCIT alumni named to this Forty Under 40 Awards list

BCIT is celebrating six alumni of the Burnaby post-secondary recently named to Glacier Media's Business In Vancouver (BIV) Forty Under 40 Awards. 

“On behalf of the BCIT Alumni Association, I want to extend congratulations to the BCIT alumni being recognized by BIV’s Forty Under 40 Awards,” BCIT Alumni Association Executive Director Lisa Jung said in a news release.

“Through your achievements, you promote the excellence of BCIT.”

The six alumni, who graduated from the School of Business and Media, are as follows: 

  • Jeremy Baxter - Diploma in Marketing Management, Entrepreneurship (2007)
  • Sanjina Hothi - Diploma in Financial Management, Advanced Account (2013)
  • Michael Konnert - Diploma in Marketing Engagement, Entrepreneurship (2011)
  • Danielle Sleiman - Associate Certificate in Marketing Management, Marketing Communications (2012)
  • Katie Stevens - Diploma in Marketing Management, Marketing Communications (2011)
  • Collette Trudeau - Certificate in Human Resources Management (2011)

“Those selected as recipients this year have achieved outstanding early-career successes,” BIV said in its announcement. 

“Whether as entrepreneurs, professionals, or corporate executives, they have also demonstrated a clear dedication to community engagement, philanthropy, and volunteerism.”
