One of Vancouver’s favourite Vietnamese restaurants has opened its second location in Burnaby.
Bun Cha Ca Hoang Yen is now open at 4883 Kingsway in Metrotown after hosting its grand opening March 28.
On Instagram, the company wrote the family is “beyond excited” to open its second location.
“After more than a decade of serving our generous community on Victoria Drive we have been blessed with the opportunity to bring the flavours of Bun Cha Ca Hoang Yen to BURNABY,” they wrote, thanking their customers for 12 years of support in Vancouver.
Bun Cha Ca Hoang Yen was a 2018 finalist for “Best Vietnamese” category in Vancouver’s restaurant awards, according to the company's website.
Social media users expressed their excitement.
“How many seats in the restaurant? Gonna invite the whole office for lunch,” wrote one Instagram user.
The menu features specials like fish cake and vermicelli in soup, fried squid cake and more.
The restaurant’s Vancouver location is at 5155 Victoria Dr.
