Burnaby resident Anne Ip won $3.2 million from a Lotto 6/49 ticket bought at Lougheed Town Centre.

According to a press release from the B.C. Lottery Corporation, Ip had a giant smile on her face after she collected the $3.2 million in the corporation's Vancouver office.

"My first reaction was awe," said Ip in a press release. "I'm overwhelmed. It's unreal after you discover you've won this much money."

Ip, a 66-year-old grandmother, picked all six numbers for the Aug. 14 draw, and the jackpot was just under $3.2 million.

She bought the winning ticket at the lottery booth in the middle of the Lougheed Town Centre.

"I've shared the news with my immediate family," Ip said, speaking through a translator. "I can't believe my eyes!" Ip told B.C. Lottery Corporation that she plans to go house hunting in Burnaby right after she purchases a new car.

Lotto 6/49 is a cross-Canada lottery, with draws twice a week and a minimum jackpot of $3 million.
