Board of trade grant OK'd

The City of Burnaby has approved a grant of $100,000 to the Burnaby Board of Trade. The board receives an annual grant for the operation of the city's economic development program, given in quarterly instalments of $25,000, starting in October.

The city's finance and civic development committee made the presentation to board president Paul Holden and the chair of the board of directors, Dick Kouwenhoven, at its open meeting on Oct. 27.
