Metro Vancouverites shouldn't put away their snow shovels just yet.
Environment Canada is calling for another dumping of snowfall this week followed by a couple of opportunities for flurries.
While temperatures have warmed significantly since the near record-breaking cold in late December, the Vancouver weather forecast calls for some frigid overnight lows this week.
Starting on Tuesday (Jan. 4), the forecast includes a chilly overnight low of -2°C with partly cloudy skies. Wednesday is expected to see a mix of sun and cloud and a high of 2°C while the evening forecast includes snowfall and a low of 0°C.
Thursday is expected to see rain or snow during the day with rain showers or flurries overnight. Similarly, Friday is expected to see periods of snow or rain during the day. While Friday night is expected to see rain, there is another chance for showers or flurries Saturday night.
Sunday is expected to be wet but significantly milder, with a daytime high of 7°C and a low of 3°C overnight.
