COVID-19 positivity rate up, case rates down
Positivity rates for COVID-19 infections have gone up, the BCCDC says.
However, the updated data from Jan. 11 to 17, 2022, shows case rates in the four quadrants dropped as Omicron continues to put a major strain on B.C.'s health-care system.
Case rates are new cases per 100,000 people by local health area and community health service area.
