A Burnaby nurse has been disciplined for problems with her paperwork.
On Dec. 29, 2022, registered nurse Cynthia Fung documented assessments in two clients' charts that had not been performed and included a notation of a date and time in the future, according to a notice on the BC College of Nurses and Midwives website.
A panel of the college's inquiry committee approved an agreement Wednesday to resolve the issues.
Under the agreement, Fung has agreed to a two-day suspension, a public reprimand, remedial education in "documentation and ethics," a regulatory practice consulting program, and an agreement to "self-regulate with regard to workload."
"The inquiry committee is satisfied that the terms will protect the public," stated the notice.
