Burnaby opens emergency warming centre for shelter from winter weather

The City of Burnaby is opening an overnight warming centre near Royal Oak SkyTrain station today (Jan. 17) to provide extra capacity to shelter vulnerable people from the cold.

The warming centre at 7320 Buller Ave., which has 20 spaces, will operate from 8:30 p.m. to 8 a.m. daily until further notice.
