Mounties in Burnaby are asking for the public's assistance in identifying a suspect who broke into a home when the owner was inside.
In a news release, police say on Dec. 15, 2021, at approximately 11:30 a.m., a break and enter happened at a home near Stanley Crescent and Canada Way while one resident was home.
It isn't known if the suspect was aware someone was home when they entered.
"I am confident that someone can identify this suspect from the photos and video provided," Burnaby RCMP Media Relations Officer Cpl. Michael Kalanj said in the release.
"If you recognize this person, please help us and the victim by contacting police."
Anyone who recognizes the suspect in the photos and video provided are asked to contact Burnaby RCMP at 604-646-9999 and quote file number 21-43648.
