Burnaby voters will have another chance to hear from Burnaby South candidates before election day at an upcoming town hall.
The event is scheduled for Sept. 14 at 7 p.m. at the Ismaili Centre Vancouver (4010 Canada Way) with a limited in-person audience due to COVID-19 guidelines and will also be live streamed.

Topics will include environment, job creation, housing and how candidates will help create a safer, more sustainable and prosperous community in Burnaby.
The town hall will be moderated by Bruce Claggett of BFC Communications.
Candidates that have confirmed their attendance are:
- Likky Lavji - Conservative Party of Canada
- Brea Sami - Liberal Party of Canada
- Peter Julian (on behalf of Jagmeet Singh) New Democratic Party of Canada
- Maureen Curran - Green Party of Canada
The event is still waiting for confirmation from Marcella Williams of the People's Party of Canada.
General voting day for Canadians is Sept. 20, 2021.
