If you love to swim at the Edmonds pool, you’re up a creek without water wings.
The pool at the Edmonds Community Centre will be closed for the next two and a half months.
The reason?
For maintenance and repairs.
As great as city facilities are, they need care and attention on a rotating basis.
Which is why the pool will be closed to the public until March 15, according to a tweet from the Burnaby parks and rec department.
The city is advising people looking for another indoor pool to use CG Brown, Eileen Dailly or Bonsor. If you drive, that’s not that big of a deal.
Unfortunately, if you can only take transit, a trip to the pool becomes a much longer task.
