Burnaby will be permanently losing its only Red Robin restaurant at the end of this year.
Red Robin Canada announced on Nov. 25 that the 9628 Cameron St. location will no longer be operational at the end of this month, citing a "number of factors" in a post on social media.
This includes the expiry on its lease, noting the company was not able to reach an agreement to keep its Sullivan Heights spot.
"To our Red Robin guests in Burnaby: Regretfully, we must announce our location at 9628 Cameron Street will be closing by the end of this year. Thank you for your many years of support!," the post read.
"Our plan is to remain open until the end of December 2022."
Red Robin Canada is encouraging its Burnaby guests to visit its other locations nearby in Coquitlam, Surrey and Vancouver.
The company said despite the closure of its Burnaby location, no other closures are planned, also pointing out they recently finished renovations in Coquitlam, Maple Ridge and Kelowna.
Royalty rewards and gift cards are valid at other Red Robin locations. For more information, you can visit Red Robin's website.
