Looking for something to do with your dad this Father’s Day?
Take him to meet a Vancouver Canucks legend.
Jyrki Lumme, a slick defenceman who played nine seasons with the Canucks – including his finest offensive seasons – will be signing trading cards this Sunday at the Lougheed Town Centre Walmart in Burnaby.
Upper Deck, the exclusive trading card licensee of the National Hockey League (NHL) and the NHL Players’ Association (NHLPA),is celebrating the company’s 30th anniversary with player signings and hockey card events at four local Walmart Supercentre locations, including in Burnaby.
Hockey fans are invited to celebrate Father’s Day with a free 5x7 autographed O-Pee-Chee hockey card from Lumme, who will be signing cards from 3:30 to 4:30pm.
The event will continue through 7:30 p.m. with free personalized Upper Deck trading cards and a chance to win an exclusive NHL Draft poster.
