The City of Burnaby is looking for you!
Hiring a variety of roles for the local elections this coming October, the city is hiring workers for general voting day (Saturday, Oct. 15), as well as one of six shifts on advance voting days (Oct. 1, 5, and 8).
Roles include:
- Presiding election official
- Alternate presiding election official
- Election official
- Machine attendant
- Greeter
Paid training will be given from mid to late September.
In order to be an election worker, you must be legally allowed to work in Canada and be 18 years old or above.
You don’t need to be a Burnaby resident or a Canadian citizen, but preference will be given to Burnaby citizens.
