An alert was issued by Fraser Health on May 20 at Chartwell Carlton Care Residence after one staff member and one resident tested positive for the virus.
Fraser Health has confirmed the two cases involved were the only infections discovered at the facility.
At the time, the following proactive measures were implemented.

- Visitors are restricted throughout the facility
- Staff and residents’ movement in the facility has been restricted
- Cleaning and infection control measures have been enhanced
- Residents, families and staff are being notified
