The currently under-construction Electronic Arts campus in Burnaby could soon be approved for a variety of new amenities, including a swimming pool.
Canadian Turner Construction Company has applied to rezone a portion of 3700 Gilmore Way to allow commercial uses including:
- child care
- retail
- food services
- a swimming pool
- “educational partnership programs within the technology-based office buildings … in support of the primary tenant, Electronic Arts,” according to the company’s letter of intent.
The city approved two three-to-five-storey office buildings with underground parking in 2022.
More details on the project will come as the application moves through the rezoning process.
