Firefighters are on scene at an apartment fire in North Burnaby.
The Burnaby Fire Department was called to the Regal Manor apartment building at 355 Holdom Ave. at 9:06 a.m. for reports of a building fire, according to assistant fire Chief Graham Lamont.
One photo of the scene shows flames and smoke coming from the west side of a lowrise apartment, just behind Hill's Bakery on Hastings Street.
Another photo shows a man holding a small child on the 44-unit, five-storey building's roof.
Lamont said 14 fire trucks and 56 fire department personnel are currently on scene.
Burnaby RCMP have also responded to help with traffic control.
