After weeks of digging deep into their wallets, Burnaby drivers can now take a breather as gas prices in Lower Mainland remain well under $2 per litre.
There was a slight dip in gas prices over the Labour Day long weekend (from an average of $2.065 per litre to $2.013 per litre).
This week, the prices have dipped even further — with an average of $1.97 per litre in Metro Vancouver as of Friday, Sept. 8.
Burnaby fuel stations are offering an average of $1.956 per litre as 10:30 a.m. today.
The cheapest gas in the province is the Super Save in Farmington at $1.639 per litre.
