Are gas prices in Burnaby starting to offer consistent prices for local drivers?
Short answer: yes.
The cheapest gas in the city is posted at $1.69 per litre, which was the exact same as last Friday, Nov. 3, according to GasBuddy.com's latest update.
That price, however, is being offered at a different location — Smart Gas on Canada Way — and is also the second least expensive fuel in all of Metro Vancouver.
Other outlets have fluctuated in gas prices with most recording an increase or decrease of a single cent.
Burnaby's average price for gas currently sits at $1.74 per litre, as of this publication, Nov. 10, which is a drop of one cent from last week.
The cheapest fuel in B.C. is being pumped for Costco cardholders in Kamloops at $1.59 per litre.
The next best price, however, isn't necessarily far away, according to GasBuddy.com, as Petro Canada along Fraser Highway in Abbotsford is offering $1.60 per litre.
The rest of the top 10 best gas prices in the province are either in the interior, in the north or on Vancouver Island, ranging from $1.61 to $1.63 per litre.
