This Remembrance Day will remember and honour those who served before us.
Edmonds Remembrance Day Service
A week before the day, you can honour the veterans who served and sacrificed for their country on Saturday, Nov. 5 at Edmonds Community Centre.
When: Saturday, Nov. 5 from 1 to 3 p.m.

Confederation Park Remembrance Day Service
Wear a poppy while you pause and remember those who served at home and abroad to protect. This North Burnaby service will be hosted by the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #148 in front of the cenotaph in Confederation Park.
A parade to the cenotaph along Albert Street will begin from McGill Library at 10:30 a.m.
When: Friday, Nov. 11, parade begins at 10:30 a.m.

Bonsor Park Remembrance Day Service
The South Burnaby Remembrance Day Service will be hosted by the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #83 at the cenotaph in Bonsor Park. You can remember the veterans who served in combat and in support operations.
A parade to the cenotaph will begin from Fire Hall No. 3 at 10:30 a.m.
When: Friday, Nov. 11, parade begins at 10:30 a.m.
Where: Bonsor Park Cenotaph (Jubilee Avenue and Nelson Avenue between Bennet and Imperial streets)

Skate To Remember
This Remembrance Day, the city is hosting a $2 family-friendly skating afternoon at Kensington Complex. Skates and helmet rentals are included in the admission fee.
When: Friday, Nov. 11 from 12:15 to 3:15 p.m.
Where: Kensington Complex (6159 Curtis St.)
Cost: $2 per person, free for children 3 years and under
