Burnaby RCMP is looking for the owner of a diamond ring turned into police this month.
The ring was dropped off at the main Burnaby RCMP detachment on Oct. 2 by a member of the public who had found it lying on the pavement in a South Burnaby park, according to RCMP.
The single-stone ring features a silver- and gold-coloured band.
“We’re hoping to find the owner in the next 90 days,” Burnaby RCMP Cpl. Mike Kalanj told the NOW.
After that time, the ring will become the property of the person who found it, Kalanj said.
If you are the owner or know the owner of the ring, contact RCMP at 604-646-9999 and quote file number 2020-39836.
