Jeff Kuah is running for the position of school trustee because he and his supporters believe that he can bring the necessary changes to this beautiful and vibrant city.
Jeff was born in Malaysia and is of Chinese heritage. Jeff speaks English, Mandarin, Cantonese and Taiwanese.
He has lived in Canada for 19 years and has been a resident of Burnaby for the past three years, where his children are enrolled in the Burnaby school system.
He earned two bachelors degrees from the University of Lethbridge: one in political science and another in business management.
Jeff has considerable political experience; first at University of Lethbridge and second in Vancouver and Burnaby working on behalf of students and immigrants.
Jeff has considerable relevant work experience in high school counselling and university advising.
He has first-hand experience in both Eastern and the Western societies. Jeff is a tireless advocate and champion for the rights of crime victims, student rights and human rights.
