Kamloops RCMP looking for help locating a 25-year-old man wanted for threats, forcible confinement, breaching conditions and assaults, including one in Burnaby.
James Wessel is described as a 5-foot-9 white male weighing 180 pounds with blue eyes and brown hair, according to a police news release Wednesday.
"Since receiving the arrest warrant, Kamloops RCMP frontline officers have made efforts to locate James Wessel, but he remains at large," Kamloops RCMP Cpl. Crystal Evelyn said in the release.
Evelyn said Wessel isn't from Kamloops originally and may have left the area.
"We are asking for James Wessel to please attend his nearest police station to turn himself in, or for anyone who has information that may help locate him to please contact police as soon as possible," Evelyn said.
The assault in Burnaby is alleged to have happened on March 12, according to Court Services Online. Wessel has also been charged with breaching release conditions in Burnaby that day.
