Letter: Burnaby resident 'sick and tired' of wildlife cull rhetoric

One letter writer believes the owl that attacked a two-year-old at Burnaby's Squint Lake Park should be moved, not destroyed.

The Editor:

This owl is wildlife protecting a nest or maybe chicks.

This owl does not need to be destroyed, but maybe moved.

So sick and tired of every time something happens with wildlife and people, people want the animal destroyed.

If we keep these types of practices up, there will not be any wild life left.

At Squint Lake, there is a sign that says to watch out for this owl.

Therefore, to me, you enter at your own risk.
