Letter: Is this the end of family-oriented neighbourhoods in Burnaby?

This letter writer doesn't want Lougheed Town Centre to match the density of Brentwood.

Re: Colossal 80-storey, 73-storey towers approved in Burnaby with 1,400+ condos (Sept. 23, 2024)

Stop duplicating the same eyesore that has happened in the Brentwood area.

These places are not affordable for anyone. Purely greed for taxes.

They have ruined our beautiful city with all these cement towers.

Is this the end of family neighbourhoods?

With so many people being offered this way of living, have you forgotten about schools?

How about health care? And the strain these have on our infrastructure?

Sorry to say, Burnaby is pushing out people that have called this home for their entire lives.

I used to be proud to call Burnaby the most beautiful place to live.

Not any more.
