Letter: No 'downtown' means Burnaby city hall should stay where it is

A letter writer believes Burnaby should renovate its existing city hall instead of moving to Metrotown.

Re: Burnaby's Metrotown library to be redeveloped into new 'iconic' city hall (Sept. 7, 2023)

Burnaby does not have a downtown.

It's city hall is in a geographical central location.

Renovate the existing structures there, or build new ones.

Vancouver doesn't seem to be suffering from it's city hall location.

The city seems to be itching to spend our money.

It needs to find a better reason.
