A 33-year-old man missing since the summer is known to frequent bottle depots, Burnaby RCMP said.
Tyler Bursey, formally reported missing Sept. 22 but was last seen July 22, collects beverage containers and goes to bottle depots across the region, Mounties said in a news release Monday, Oct. 21.
As well, police spokesperson Cpl. Mike Kalanj said Bursey frequently visits Burnaby's Brentwood neighbourhood.
If you frequent the Brentwood area or you attend any recycling business in the Lower Mainland, we are asking that you keep an eye out for Tyler,
Kalanj said.

Burnaby Mounties is asking for the public's help in finding a missing 33-year-old man last seen in the middle of summer.
Tyler Bursey hasn't been seen since July 22, 2024, according to RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Michael Kalanj in a news release on Friday, Oct. 4.
However, Bursey was formally reported missing to police on Sept. 22.
Kalanj explained Bursey is believed to frequent Burnaby, Surrey and Langley.
He's described as:
- 5'8"
- 150 pounds
- Black hair
- Blue eyes
Anyone with more information on Bursey or his whereabouts is encouraged to call Burnaby RCMP at 604-646-9999 and quote file number 2024-33035.
