Are you missing jewelry or a bike?
Coquitlam RCMP has found property it wants to return to its rightful owners.
Today, April 16, the detachment that serves Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Anmore and Belcarra released images of recent items handed over to police.
They are:
- an orange Kuwahara Gaap Forest bicycle (file 2024-6000)
- recovered on Saturday, March 9, 2024, in a wooded area along Hudson Street near Nash Street in Coquitlam; a serial number was located but has not been matched with police report
- a gold wedding band (file 2024-8077)
- located on Monday, March 25, 2024, at noon on a gravel trail at Como Lake Park (686 Gatensbury St., Coquitlam); it was turned over to police on Monday, April 1, 2024
- silver watch, silver and diamond tennis bracelet and silver bangle (file 2024-8194)
- turned over to Coquitlam RCMP on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, after found near Costco at 3550 Brighton Ave., Burnaby; the jewelry was discovered with other found property that’s since been returned to their rightful owner
In a news release, Mounties spokesperson Cpl. Alexa Hodgins said the owners of these items will need to give details, including identifying marks, to police to recover their wares.
