Wondering what to do with the kids this summer? How about taking them to see the filming of a popular Canadian television show?
YTV's Mr. Young is shooting its second season starting this Friday, and residents of Burnaby are invited to be part of a live studio audience.
Mr. Young is a half-hour comedy about Adam Young, a child prodigy who attended university when he was nine and at 14, started teaching high school science. It premiered on YTV last March and is produced here in Burnaby.
It's taping at the studios at Byrne Road and Marine Way in Burnaby, and episodes are being filmed on Fridays this month - July 8, 13, 22 and 29.
Audience check-in is at 3:30, with the live audience show at 4:45 p.m., wrapping up at 9:30 p.m.
Attendance is free, and it's suggested that audience members be at least 12 years old.
