An award-winning Canadian recording artist will be at Shadbolt Centre for the Arts this weekend.
David Myles, an indie folk-pop performer from New Brunswick, will be onstage in the Shadbolt's Studio Theatre at 8 p.m.
Myles has six albums to his credit. His most recent release, Into the Sun, showcases his love of experimentation as he combines pop hooks with great songwriting and a return to his first instrument, the trumpet.
The album takes listeners onto a journey into Brazilian and African musical sounds.
"His unabashed joy at being on stage is infectious, and his enthusiasm, along with a tendency to regale audiences with humorous anecdotes, has made him a favourite wherever he plays," a press release promises.
Tickets for the show are $32 regular, $27 for students and seniors, or $10 for youth 12 and under.
