There's a new grocery store in town: Sungiven Foods has opened at Greystone Village in Burnaby.

The Asian grocery giant opened at the former SuperValu space 1601 Burnwood Dr. July 28 at 9 a.m.

It's Sungiven's 10th store in the Lower Mainland, and its third in Burnaby.

The grocery store bills itself as a top-quality Asian supermarket focused on being "more natural, less processed and (with) fewer additives." It carries six private labels including Sungiven, Ontrue, Onetang, Yuho, Sunfreesia, and Sünnbörg, according to the store's website.

It will compete with a yet-to-be opened PriceSmart Foods grocery store at the new City of Lougheed development.
