A new meat and poultry shop is coming to South Burnaby this month.
Garcha Bros. Meat Shop & Poultry is hosting a grand opening on Sunday, Nov. 19 from noon to 4 p.m. at its new location: 7595 Sixth St.
The shop will serve a variety of meats, fish, marinated veggies, tikka, pre-cooked items and vegetarian options as well, such as veggie soya chunks.
Kuldip Singh Bedi, one of the partners of the franchisee-owners, said he’s seen a "tremendous response" from the community already.
Bedi said there's a huge demand for fresh meat in the community and added the shop guarantees the freshness of the meat.
"If it’s not fresh, it’s not Garcha," he said.
