Trains were once again leaving the station at the Burnaby Central Railway during the long weekend with the opening of the 2022 season.
The railway officially opened on April 15 and runs until Thanksgiving each year on weekends and statutory holidays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. (last ticket sales are at 4:45 p.m.).
Cost is $4.50 for a single ride (all passengers three years old and up) or $40 for 10 ride passes (can be used over different days and do not expire).
The railway also says it's optimistic that the Garden Railway Committee may be open for public viewing later this season.
