For those with a deep love of school, September is the start of the real New Year.

It's back-to-school season at Simon Fraser University, and the Simon Fraser Student Society is hosting Clubs Days until Sept. 15 for interested students to check out groups like SFU Rocketry, chess club, recreational sports a variety of musical groups and more.

Many students were representing the school's new team name: the SFU Red Leafs.

Students can take a break from classes to enjoy a marshmallow-roasting firepit.
