Police paid a visit to Big Shots Café in Burnaby Heights last night (July 12).
The Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit's Joint Illegal Gaming Investigation Group (JIGIT) conducted a search warrant at 3980 Hastings St., Sgt. Brenda Winpenny told the NOW in an emailed statement.
No further information was given as the investigation is ongoing.
In 2020, four men were charged in connection with an illegal gaming house operating out of the same location.
